Ottertail Lodge
The Lodge is located at the end of a dead-end road in a remote Northern location. A mystical place set at the edge of a hardwood forest, where you can hear coyotes and owls at night, see deer, turkey, grouse, an occasional bear and a host of small 'critters' and birds. New photos appear at the top, so if you are a first time visitor, scroll to the bottom of the May, 2005, archive and view the building process.

Since when are you the motorhead??? Dan and Swede have Honda fourstrokes, Greg and Craig (or the eggs, as Ivan calls them) have two strokes, Evinrudes, I think. The Hondas seem to take much less gas, are quieter and don't have the 2-cycle oil smell. Swede and Dan are always complaining about the 2-strokers.... half serious, half joking.
I didn't really get a look at the other boats so don't know what they had.
The boats in this photo with the canvas roofs are the guide boats from the lodge. They have 150 HP Evinrude Mariner motors. 2-strokers.
Cantcha find a domestic built 4 stroke boat motor??? Love it or leave it, after all........
Check these for a start....
