Guest editorial from Bryn.......

The Heartbreakers broke hearts again in a surprisingly pleasant way on Saturday evening. The troupe traveled to Mondeaux flowage in the Chequamegon Nat'l. Forest, where they were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd from Westboro and the outlying area.Completing this ensemble is Dean and Gene on guitars, Angie on dobro(!) and bass at times, Russ on accordian when not on bass, Lori on dulcimers, and the whole group on vocals as seen fit. While they played, they were joined by Archie with his good old songs. This time, ECC played while sitting on a stool, and he reports to have had a better time and a more successful time with playing than at the Ogema revival. Someone in the crowd called out, "Play Tennessee Stud!", so Carlo obliged... but only to the end of the first verse/chorus for lack of a sufficient memory of the song ('twill go in the archives of needed repertoire). In other news, (broken up by more perfect pictures of the band)I,Bryn, will be moving to Wausau on Thursday. This will be to a dorm on the UW Marathon Campus. I'm studying various classes: Acting, Sociology, 3rd Sem. Spanish, Choir, Freshman Seminar... etc. I will also be working on campus and bumming around town on two feet. I will be taking with me many useless yet sentimental items, but alas, I will not be taking my cat along. As far as my plans at semester... who knows!!! But never fear, they will be well articulated. This evening I was treated to some more of the same type of pie that Rosie had when she visited on Thursday. Grandma makes the best apple pie ever! (See below for the final view of the pie documentation) The apples are almost finished on the yellow transparent tree, but I got a few good bites before I chucked one into the field. Hmmm... Dad's practicing his guitar in the living room, mixing a little Classic Country(!) with Classical. That's about all, so enjoy the pictures! My time here is done - more next time! And of course the Grand Finale, when everyone joined in!!!!!
I just noticed this alarming thing on the Ogema Revival post, why are there always beer cans on Dad's amp and/or music stand? Is that a good thing? What in the sam hill?!!Oh yeah, this pie test result is from Saturday ;)Well, this is it, folks - the end of 'pi' research for this year.

Well, Sunset, there are apple pies in the freezer here..... anyone that shows up would be entitled to a slice. Besides, the leaves are getting to be quite colorful up here. It's a bit early for that, but it may be the dryness factor.
When will I expect you up here???
